Would like to see your child's gift for the beauty industry nurtured?

What if your child could be mentored by a seasoned stylist with over 20 experience, would you do it?

If you, answered yes to any of the above questions then this workshop is for YOU! Or rather your baby.

S.I.T. is a unique opportunity for girls to learn, experience, and grow their skill in hair. In this live hands-on workshop your child will enjoy gaining knowledge and understanding of a few trendy styles they can accomplish on their own. Giving them the confidence needed to take their hairstyles to the next level.

In this workshop we will play with dolls, learning the fundamentals of:

The history of the beauty industry:

Fundamentals of Hair styling.

Blow drying essentials

Cornrowing structure

The basics of shampoo and conditioning

How to avoid heat damage.

Theory of hair texture

In short, how to take care of their hair.

This workshop will assist each S.I.T participant in building a strong foundation in hair. Equipping them with the necessary tools to:

• Do their own hair at home.
• Assist with their sibling's hair and maybe yours too:)
• As well as give them a real life feel for the fascinating world of beauty.

Each participant will be provided with the necessary tools to perform each phase of the workshop. They will also have plenty opportunity for Q&A. Lunch will be provided for each S.I.T participant as well.

Each "Stylist in training" participant will also be given:

1. A S.I.T. journal, for note taking and personal reflection.
2. A Stylist in training certificate of participation.
3. A Signature "Stylist in Training" T-shirt to celebrate their first step into the beauty industry.

BONUS:

Each child will learn (taught by KOI beauty esthetics)

1. How to perform soft glam.
2. A skin care regimen they can use at home.

DeWanna Whitted is a licensed cosmetologist, licensed cosmetology and esthetics instructor, author, publisher, entrepreneur.

At 7 years of age, she realized her love for hair. Positioning her to become the neighborhood hair stylist. After seeing the vast opportunities, the beauty industry has to offer coupled with her desire to pour into the next generation she created Stylist in training. DeWanna believes it is her duty to allow girls the chance to sit at her feet and learn the beauty industry.

Her secret desire is to see other little girls go far and beyond the things she has accomplished. Giving them a strong foundation to build upon.
