Ombré Star PDF Quilt Pattern

Ombré Star is made from easy, big half-square triangles and nothing more.

The color and value gradations in ombré fabrics make sophisticated color and shading transitions possible in simple blocks. In this quilt, the shading makes the star glow. This quilt can also make a spectacular base for appliqué.

Approx 72’’ x 72’’ (64 blocks) depending on the repeat of the ombré.

SKILLS NEEDED: All straight seams, some bias edges; mostly accurate 1/4” seam allowance; basic quilt finishing skills.
