Relationship with Boredom + Coaching Session
Boredom is often dismissed as a trivial inconvenience, but research suggests it plays a meaningful role in how we engage with work, seek stimulation, and manage frustration and routine. Understanding your relationship with boredom can shed light on patterns in your motivation, your tolerance for repetition, and what kinds of work genuinely sustain your attention and energy.
Format: 10 scenario-based questions, completed online. Your personalised feedback report is delivered to your inbox on completion.
Time: Approximately 10 minutes.
This questionnaire is grounded in established psychological research into boredom proneness as a stable individual difference, drawing on the foundational work of Farmer and Sundberg (1986) and subsequent developments in the field, which position boredom proneness as meaningfully related to attention, motivation, and engagement at work.
Upon purchase you will receive an invoice to download, and also an email which contains instructions and a link to the questionnaire test site, and a link for you to book in your one-to-one coaching session with a Chartered Occupational Psychologist
