Ways to Use This Resource
Use the large goose as a whole-class SEL display and introduce the outfits as different ways Silly Goose can regulate himself. Students can discuss which strategies might help in different situations before choosing strategies that work for them.
Children can then decorate a goose footprint, add their name, and draw or add a picture showing what helps them calm down. Put the finished footprints around your giant Silly Goose for a personalised classroom display.
The smaller goose pieces can also be used for an individual cut-and-paste activity, giving students their own Silly Goose to dress.
Perfect for SEL lessons, calm-down corners, self-regulation activities, counselling groups, special education classrooms, early elementary classrooms, back-to-school displays and classroom community activities.
Because sometimes even a Silly Goose needs a minute. πͺΏπ
