Breath Affirmation Cards — 40 Cards, 7 Practices, Free
Something to reach for when your head is going.
Forty cards. Keep them on your phone, print them, stick one on the fridge. They're for the moment in the car park before you go in, or at 3am when you're staring at the ceiling.
Seven practices you can actually use
Not theory. Seven ways of breathing, each on its own card, each with the counts written down so you don't have to remember anything.
Box breathing. In four, hold four, out four, hold four. For steadying yourself.
Elongated exhale. In four, out eight. The long exhale is what settles a nervous system.
Sama vritti. Equal in, equal out. For balance.
Sighing breath. One deep inhale, out with a full sigh. For releasing something.
Coherent breathing. Five and a half seconds each way, until heart and mind fall into rhythm.
Alternate nostril. For clearing a busy mind.
Breath of joy. Three short inhales, one long exhale. For when you need lifting.
And thirty three reminders
My breath is my anchor. This breath is enough. I return to my breath, I return to myself.
Read one, do one, carry on with your day.
Why it's free
Because everything you need is already in you. I'm only opening the door.
These are the same practices I teach in the woods in County Durham, and there's no reason they should sit behind a price. Take them.
What you get
