The Job I never wanted

I always thought work was a place to grow.

A place where you feel needed. Happy.

I pictured something bright.

Like you show up every day — a little buzzing bee —

and just make stuff.

Create, create, create.

People around you are smiling.

Music’s playing.

Everyone’s helping each other, working like a team.

And it feels good.

That’s what I imagined.
