Sabino Scarf Tunisian Crochet Pattern

This pattern is for a Tunisian Crochet Scarf. 

Sabino creek is just a short hike from my house. The water in the creek gently flows down from the Santa Catalina mountains throughout the year and inspired the wavy cables in this scarf.

New to Tunisian crochet cables? This scarf is the perfect introduction.

Materials
Yarn: 500-650 yards (450-650m) DK weight yarn. Sample used Primrose Yarns Roak DK (60% SW Merino, 40% NSW Merino 230 yds/100g) in the Serenity colorway.
Hook: 6.5mm (K) tunisian crochet hook that can hold 32 stitches and 6.5 mm (K) regular crochet hook for cable stitches. 
Size:  Sample is 7" (18cm) wide and 50"(125cm) long. Pattern includes instructions for modifying both width and length.

Skill level- Intermediate
Basic knowledge of tunisian crochet is assumed (forward pass/return pass etc). Written instructions.
