Patterns progress from two alternating pictures to three-picture repeating groups. Children can draw, point, say the answer or place cards into the spaces. Work on one row at a time and return cards before the next row.

Suggested ages 3-6 with adult support. Younger learners can begin with the first two worksheets; later activities offer more challenge. Practise observing, matching and recognising repeating patterns through play.

PRINTING & PLAY

Print single-sided at 100% / Actual size using the PDF that matches your paper. The cut-out cards fit the answer boxes in both formats. An adult should cut out the cards or closely supervise cutting. Use pencils for drawing activities, or keep the cards loose to play again.
