Description
Men are around 4 in 10 victims of domestic abuse in England and Wales.
Many never report it.
This course explains what abuse against men really looks like, the tactics abusers use, and what men need to get out and recover. It's built from my own experience as a survivor and the stories of men who've been through it.
What's inside:
· 33 video lessons, about an hour in total, to watch at your own pace
· The six types of abuse, each with a real example of how a man experienced it
· 18 lessons on the abuser's tools: love bombing, gaslighting, isolation, financial control, blame shifting, using the children, and more
· Two full case studies, and an interview with a male survivor about the support he wanted
· The challenges men face: stigma, a lack of services, and bias in the system
· A 44-page course workbook, updated with the latest figures
· The Record, my private journal and incident log, included free (worth £5.99)
Who it's for: men who are, or were, in an abusive relationship; family and friends worried about a man in their life; and professionals who work with men.
