This is the China International Leadership Programme Free Introductory Module.

The China International Leadership Programme is a blended programme offering Mandarin immersion, cultural engagement, site visits, and teaching placements. The programme combines online modules with immersive, on-the-ground experience in China. It develops global leadership skills while allowing participants to make a meaningful difference in rural Chinese communities.
The China International Leadership Programme has the following core goals:
- Develop Mandarin proficiency through structured learning, immersion, and real-world practice.
- Build intercultural competence through cultural immersion and guided educational tours.
- Gain teaching and leadership skills through hands-on internship experience in rural China.
The China International Leadership Programme consists of three tracks, comprising a total of eight modules. Modules may include live sessions, video-based instruction, assignments, quizzes, on-the-ground experiential learning, and other learning activities, with online content released on a structured, phased (drip) basis.
Each module includes an end-of-module online assessment, with a minimum passing grade of 70% required in all modules. In addition, certain modules may include offline or in-person assessments aligned with practical or experiential components. Upon successful completion of each track, participants are awarded a certificate.

The China International Leadership Programme is coordinated by the Ireland Sino Institute. The Institute is dedicated to strengthening Europe–China relations through initiatives in education, business, philanthropy, culture, tourism, and technology. It operates offices in both Europe and China and runs non-profit schools across China registered with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
