Every other cathedral in this series is a destination in its own right. This one is also an ending: the final stop on the Camino de Santiago, walked on foot for over a thousand years. This Companion reads its Romanesque and Baroque layers, and tells the story of a giant silver censer that has, on at least two memorable occasions, flown out its own windows.
