The Inner City Quilt Pattern by Lessa Siegele is easy to construct and has maximum impact.  Color it modern or rainbow, floral or scrap.  This is an easy quilt that anyone can do.  THERE ARE NOT SET IN CORNERS OR Y SEAMS!  Clever construction method using strip piecing and a 60° ruler mean that anybody can make this awesome quilt!

The illusion of 3-dimensional city buildings is created using my favourite 60° triangle ruler and fabrics with very definite shades of light, medium and dark.

The construction is from strips sewn together and cut with the triangle ruler.

The black and white quilt pictured is made with just three fabrics except for the optional one yellow building. Which creates an amazingly bold visual image.  The other photo is made from a variety of light medium and dark fabrics.

Pinterest has a huge variety of colorways for this quilt, some are quite fantastic.

It's a great quilt to make and the instructions are really easy to follow.

size:  104cm x 127cm  (41" x 50")

The quilt can be made bigger or smaller if you wanted to by altering the amounts of fabric required and the strips cut.
