This work explores the sustained entanglement between consciousness and its most destructive impulses.
The figure remains bound to a darker internal counterpart through a shared structure, making separation impossible.
One aspect represents conscious awareness—still present, still functioning—while the other embodies an impulse that has already collapsed.
Rather than depicting struggle or resistance, the image reflects a state of enforced equilibrium:
a fragile balance between what remains alive and what has already decayed within the self.
