Most teens arrive at GCSE English without ever having been taught how to write a proper essay. By the time the pressure hits, confidence is already gone.
When it comes to essays, most teens either feel constrained by rigid writing frames or left to fend for themselves- neither approach works, particularly neurodivergent teens who need more clarity.
In this course, we build essay confidence and exam technique before the pressure hits- we balance supported steps and academic structures with creative freedom, so that you can complete a full essay, on a topic you actually care about- with examiner feedback, we patiently pave the way towards success in GCSE literature and language- but more importantly we harness critical thinking skills to help you thrive in extended writing and express your academic voice.

What you're purchasing
The Curious Writer is a self-paced digital course comprising four video lessons and accompanying written materials. On purchase you receive lifetime access to all course materials as they exist at the time of purchase, including any future updates made to the content.
Who this course is for
This course is designed for personal, non-commercial use by the purchasing family. It is licensed for use by one student. If you wish to use the materials with multiple students, please contact me to discuss: nicola@msreedteach.com

Payment is taken in full at the point of purchase via Stripe.
Refund policy
I want you to feel confident purchasing this course. If within 7 days of purchase you feel it isn't right for your child, contact me at nicola@msreedteach.com and I'll issue a full refund.
Beyond 7 days, refunds are considered on a case by case basis- just get in touch and we'll find a fair solution.

This course is designed for independent use by teenagers aged 14–16, ideally with light-touch parental awareness. It does not involve any live interaction with me or any third party. No personal data about the student is collected through the course itself. If you have purchased the Curious Writer Plus, or get in touch with me through other means, any work or information will be stored and managed according to relevant UK GDPR legislation.
