The Tales of Banjo and the Superhero Dentist is a series of books for kids aimed at creating a light-hearted picture of what to expect at dental visits. The playful and friendly explanations provide a general understanding and build excitement in kids as they anticipate the visit.  Orangutans are Great Apes. Their dental structure closely resembles that of humans, although the males will grow much larger canines to use as weapons of defense. The name ‘orangutan’ comes from the Malay language, meaning ‘person of the forest’.  ‘Orang’ means ‘people’ and ‘hutan’ means ‘forest’. Banjo and his friends and family are Orangutans. Banjo was created to inspire children through his cuteness, bravery and tenacity, in hopes he'll be the perfect hero for kids to look upon for courage.
