Fandango Mist

Fandango Mist, created by John Robert Beck in 2011, is an expressive abstract work that captures the feeling of motion, rhythm, and transformation. The composition is built around sweeping, curved forms that resemble spirals, shells, or unfolding structures, layered over a textured background that gives the piece depth and atmosphere. Rich oranges, reds, and purples dominate the palette, while subtle greens and yellows weave through the composition, adding contrast and energy.

The visual flow suggests movement through space, almost like a dance frozen in time—hence the sense of a “fandango,” where motion and emotion intertwine. The mist-like layering softens the edges and creates a dreamlike quality, allowing the viewer to interpret the forms in their own way. This piece balances structure and fluidity, making it both dynamic and contemplative.
