Sweltering '80s

Following his first year of college, Mike returns to the small town he grew up in for the summer. After a failed gig as a pizza delivery boy, he resigns himself to doing odd jobs for the neighborhood folks who are more than happy to open up their wallets.

One such person is middle-aged single father and pillar of the community, Bill Kade. As Mike's former boss, he's familiar with the young man's desperate and sloppy work ethic. A work ethic that suits them both given how Mike likes to show off, and Bill loves to watch.

Lawn-mowing? Cleaning the gutters? Delivering pizza? There's nothing Mike won't do!
