12-year old Tommy barely escaped with his life when his family was trampled by a panicking crowd. Now alone, he had to find a way to survive in this deadly new world.

His only shelter was an old shoebox he discovered in a pile of discarded junk. Exhausted, he crawled inside and fell into a deep sleep.

Some time later, he awoke to the sound of huge footsteps approaching. Peeking out, he saw a gargantuan woman walking into view, her body as tall as a building. Tommy's heart pounded as he realized it was his mother! But how could that be? She had been a normal size the last he saw her...
