COLOR, MEMORY AND REVOLUTION: 5 WOMEN WHO TRANSFORMED VISUAL ART

A mini art history course

This is a journey...

This mini course is a guided, intimate journey through the lives and works of five artists who shaped the visual language in the whole of art history. Designed for curious learners, creatives, educators, and anyone seeking a deeper connection to culture, this course blends storytelling, art history, and reflection into a beautifully accessible experience.

Across seven focused lessons, you’ll explore the worlds of each artist—their materials, their questions, their rebellions, and the emotional truths inside their work. Each module is paired with a workbook, glossary, image guide, and audio reflections to help you slow down, look closely, and build your own visual literacy.

This is not a lecture series. It’s a conversation. A remembering. A way of seeing.

Inside the course, you’ll:

• Learn the stories and artistic lineages of five influential Black artists

• Understand how to “read” an artwork with confidence and curiosity

• Build a vocabulary for discussing art in ways that feel natural and grounded

• Explore themes of identity, memory, resistance, and imagination

• Reflect on your own creative voice through guided prompts

What you receive immediately:

Your downloadable bundle — the workbook, glossary, image guide, and certificate template — is available as soon as you enroll.

Course release schedule:

Video lessons begin releasing on March 6th, with new modules added shortly after. You’ll have lifetime access to all updates.

This course is an invitation to see art as a living archive — one that includes you.
