Sports in Spanish - Complete 2+ Week Unit
This Spanish Sports Unit that is themed with the history and participation of Spanish-speaking countries at the summer games throughout the years! This unit contains PDF and digital copies of readings and information about the traditional games and the para-games in Latin America and Spanish-speaking countries. This unit is not focused on the 2021 Games in Japan, but all summer events as a whole. This unit contains over 35 comprehensible readings, activities, and more for your students. This unit was designed with level 1b (students with a foundation) and up-in-mind. This is a great replacement or supplement to your sports unit in Spanish!
This product includes two versions for all texts:
- 21 profiles of Spanish-speaking countries and their history with the summer events
- 13 comprehensible biographies on Latin American athletes and para-athletes
- 2 stories (level 1 and level 2) with focused vocabulary and two activities useable for each
- STEM option: graph the games with 5 graphs and comprehension questions, this is a great stations activity
- Bonus readings, slideshow, student research project and more
This product will contain a PDF download with a link to a Google Drive folder . You will need to make a copy of the files in the folder to access them.
