This End of Year ARTivity Book is a low-prep, printable booklet that keeps students creative and focused while they reflect on their growth. It reviews the Elements of Art and Principles of Design through varied, hands-on pages rather than random worksheets, and it is not a coloring book.

It is made for elementary art teachers, classroom teachers incorporating visual art, homeschool educators and substitute teachers. Students work through directed drawings, Roll and Draw games, mandalas, symmetry, grid drawing, Build-a-Prompt activities and reflection pages, choosing their own art mediums. It gives structured creativity for the end of the year, when routines are shifting and attention spans are shorter.

HOW TO USE IT

Print it as a full end of year art workbook, use single pages as sketchbook glue-ins, set it up as independent art centers, leave it for a sub plan, send it home for art enrichment, or use it to review concepts before report cards. It also works for early finishers.

Students can use colored pencils, markers, watercolor, tempera, oil pastels, crayons or soft pastels. You can set the structure, or give students full creative choice. The rubric and reflection questions make assessment simple.
