Little Bible Explorers: Moses and the Wise Advice | Digital Edition
Eli wants to sort a whole pile of picture books by himself. Maya offers help, and Mum opens the Bible to a story about a visitor with a thoughtful suggestion.
Jethro comes to see Moses in the wilderness. After a warm welcome and a shared meal, he watches Moses spend a whole day listening to people’s problems. Both Moses and the waiting people need a better plan. Jethro suggests choosing capable, honest leaders to share the work, with the hardest matters still brought to Moses. Moses listens and changes how the work is organised.
Back at home, Eli, Maya and Mum make their own small plan for sorting books, then enjoy a rest together. Warm pastel illustrations and simple read-aloud language invite children to ask questions, seek trustworthy support and share manageable tasks.

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD
You receive two book files:
• A 29-page PDF with an 8 × 8-inch square page design and searchable interior text
• A matching 29-page EPUB 3 with a fixed layout
The EPUB preserves the illustrated pages as images, with complete page wording in image alternative text and a contents entry for each page. Text does not reflow independently. Use an EPUB reader that supports fixed-layout EPUB 3. The PDF provides an alternative for readers without that support. Tablets, computers and compatible colour e-readers can display the colour pages.
Read together at home or in a guided children’s Bible session. Parents, carers and teachers can use the questions and notes to support a conversation at the child’s pace.
A NOTE FOR GROWN-UPS
This edition selects events from Exodus 18. Read the full chapter alongside the Bible context notes. It simplifies the leaders’ group sizes and omits sacrifice details and the names and explanations concerning Moses’ sons. The notes retain Jethro’s condition that his advice accords with God’s command.
Jethro’s advice concerns adult leadership and judging disputes. Children are not responsible for family conflicts or grown-up workloads. Listening to advice does not mean obeying everyone: children can check suggestions with a trusted grown-up and speak when something feels unsafe. Rest is a need, not a reward for finishing every task.
Activities use drawing and conversation. Any real sorting requires adult supervision, light items and low shelves, without climbing or reaching high. Children are not asked to judge disagreements as a game.
The modern family scenes are fictional. Ancient settings are imaginative illustrations. Illustrations were created with AI assistance and selected and reviewed for this edition. This is a gentle retelling, not a Bible translation.
