Tea Cozy Cardigan

The Tea Cozy Cardigan is a seamless cardigan with top-down construction, and raglan shaping. The pattern is designed to use mini skeins, partials, and leftovers! It includes instructions both an open front and a buttoned version.

The cardigan is cast on at the back neck and worked flat to the hem. Sleeves are worked in the round from the underarm to hem.

SIZING AND MATERIALS

Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4)[5, 6, 7](8, 9, 10)

Finished bust measurement: 34 (38, 42, 46)[50, 54, 58](62, 66, 70)” / 85 (95, 105, 115)[125, 135, 145](155, 165, 175) cm at the bust.

Choose a size with 4-6” / 10-15cm of positive ease.

Yarn: Sock weight yarn held double, approx. 375 (430, 500, 575)[630, 700, 775](850, 925, 1000) grams.

Gauge: 18 stitches and 24 rows in 4”/10cm with larger needle in stockinette stitch.

Needles: US #6/4mm and US #8/5mm circular— or size needed to obtain gauge + two sizes smaller.

Notions: 4 markers, stitch holders, yarn needle, 4-7 ¾” buttons (optional).
