About the Author

Michael Wells, PhD, is a distinguished entrepreneur, author, educator, and inventor with deep expertise in entrepreneurship, innovation, and intellectual property. He holds BS, MS, and doctoral degrees in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, where his groundbreaking doctoral research in robotics earned him two U.S. patents. These patents were later sold for millions by the company that held the rights, showcasing his ability to turn innovative ideas into substantial value.

Michael has taught entrepreneurship courses at leading institutions worldwide, including Riga Business School, where he has been a part-time faculty member for over two decades and continues to teach today. His extensive teaching experience spans renowned universities such as Vanderbilt, the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, and Queen Mary University London.
