Remembrance Day Poppy Art Lesson Writing Prompt Worksheets Line Art Project Sub
This Remembrance Day Poppy Art and Write resource combines an art lesson with writing. Students follow a tutorial to draw a poppy inspired by Remembrance Day, then add their own artist flavor so each design is unique. The art is inspired by the style of the Ms Artastic YouTube Channel.
After the artwork, students complete fiction or non-fiction writing based on what they created, using writing paper with prompts or blank pages. The lesson finishes with artist statements, reflections and an exit ticket. With adaptable writing and template pages, it suits Grades 1 to 5.

The templates cater to various skill levels, so you can adapt the lesson for your learners. Use it as a quick activity or a more detailed project, depending on your schedule.
