The original "August" composition was written by me in 2014. This improvisation was arranged for The Left Hand Alone in 2020. A lot of motivation for playing and composing the music for one hand (particularly for The Left Hand) I received by watching and following a great musician, classical pianist Nicholas McCarthy. There were times, when it was hard for me to play with both hands due to the complications caused by 'tennis elbow' of my right hand. So I just continued to play with the left one. And then started to discover a great and huge world of beauty and diversity of the piano music for the left hand alone.
