T&M Ticket Log Template

Free Excel template for logging time-and-materials (T&M) tickets the way a billing office needs them: one row per ticket, with the fields a pay application depends on.

What it does:

• Logs ticket ID, date, scope, labor hours, loaded rate, materials, equipment, and markup

• Flags rows with missing fields (including text typed into numeric fields) so gaps surface before billing

• Flags duplicate ticket IDs — including duplicates that differ only by stray spaces

• Links each ticket to its change-order request (COR) and flags tickets with no COR

What it does not do:

• It does not approve, price, or certify any work — it is a log, not a determination

• It does not check your pay-app totals or your schedule of values — that reconciliation is the job of the Construction Control workbook (payhip.com/b/rXZ62)

Requires desktop Microsoft Excel (also recalculated and verified in LibreOffice). Google Sheets: not verified. One input is manual by design: you type your ticket data in — the flags do the checking.
