The Lion's Den Made Simple

Daniel -- the open window, the jealous decree, and a night among lions (Daniel 6): integrity that will not bend, prayer that will not hide, and a God who shuts the lions' mouths.

The Lion's Den Made Simple is a Bible-first walk through Daniel 6: the excellent spirit that set Daniel above them all, the conspiracy of the jealous presidents, the decree that made prayer illegal, the window open toward Jerusalem, the night among lions, the angel, the morning cry of the king, the unbroken bones, the justice that fell on the accusers, and the decree, signed by a pagan king, that proclaimed to every nation: "He delivereth and rescueth."

Explicitly Trinitarian: God the Father who orders the kingdoms of men; Jesus Christ -- Son of God and Son of Man, Lord and Savior, the greater Daniel, accused, condemned, and delivered; and the Holy Spirit, who gave Daniel his excellent spirit and who alone breaks every stronghold. Every prayer is to the Father, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit.

Read one chapter a day. Come honest. Read slowly. Pray openly.
