An Introduction to Autism

Welcome to our module, an ‘Introduction to Autism’.

This is the second module of the series, following on from ‘an introduction to neurodiversity’. It may be helpful to start with module 1 for wider background information.

We have put together this information for families of autistic children, to help parents and carers understand and meet their child’s needs. This is a simplified description of autism and further information may be found in the accompanying modules.
