If knitting were music, the stitches would be the keys, and the repeats would be the time signature. Changing just a few stitches (the notes) to cables or lace (sharps
or flats) the entire musical world is at your knitting fingertips. Before the orchestra is ready to play, while the audience is still in their cars driving to the theater, the instruments that have been carefully packed and
stored in the theater for the performance are waiting. Nestled in cases lined with felt, their strings slightly loose, their reeds in separate pouches, and mouth pieces not attached, they sit, not tuned, until the musicians arrive.

Materials:
Land O Lace Steffi (fingering weight)
US 1.5 (2.5 mm) needles
Gauge: 32 sts and 36 rows = 4 inches (10cm)
Cable Needle.

Sizes: 8 and 9 inch circumference ( 20 and 22 cm)

This pattern is worked in the round from the top down, with a heel flap and modified wedge toe. Feel free to substitute your favorite heel and toe.
