Many People Are Called But Never Finish
Many people feel the call of God in their heart, but not everyone finishes the work God gives them. The warning given to Archippus in Colossians 4:17 speaks to believers today. The apostle Paul the Apostle told Archippus to take heed and make sure he fulfilled the ministry God placed in his life.
This book teaches the difference between being called and being faithful until the end. Through simple teaching, Scripture, and biblical examples, the book explains why many people begin their spiritual journey with excitement but stop before finishing the assignment God gave them.
The life of Jesus Christ is the greatest example of finishing the work God gives. Jesus said, “It is finished” in Gospel of John 19:30 when the work of salvation was complete. The life of Paul the Apostle also shows faithfulness. Near the end of his life, Paul said, “I have finished my course” in Second Timothy 4:7.
This book explores biblical stories of people who finished their assignment and those who did not. It discusses spiritual warfare, pride, distraction, fear, and the love of the world that can pull believers away from their calling. The stories of King Saul, King Solomon, King Uzziah, and Judas Iscariot are used as warnings and teaching examples.
God is still calling people today. The message of this book is simple and powerful: do not only start the work God gives you, but finish it. The Holy Spirit gives strength to believers to complete their assignment as taught in First Corinthians 12:4-11.
This book is written in very simple language so that anyone can understand the message. It is a spiritual warning and encouragement to the church that God is still looking for people who will remain faithful until the end.
