Winter Directed Drawing Winter Art Activities Worksheets December Art Lesson
These Winter Directed Drawing Lessons give students 10 step-by-step drawing activities for winter scenes and characters. They are designed for grades 1 to 4 and are easy to adapt for kindergarten or grade 5.
Each lesson has clear visual steps that build drawing skills, fine motor control and confidence. Students can draw right on the included pages, in sketchbooks or on blank paper, or you can photocopy everything into a winter drawing workbook using the draw-on and title pages. It works for art teachers, classroom teachers and homeschool parents.
WHAT TEACHERS ARE SAYING
★★★★★ “Great resource! I actually used these for a fundraiser we were doing. Students used this to draw their artwork and then parents could order their child's artwork on a variety of things (coffee mugs, canvas bags, etc.) right before the holidays. It was a wonderful activity!” Amanda C.
WHAT'S INCLUDED (NON-EDITABLE)

WHAT STUDENTS LEARN
Students learn to draw through clear step-by-step guidance, strengthen fine motor control, and practice the elements of art: line, shape, space and pattern. The calm, focused process also makes these a good fit for mindfulness time.
HOW TO USE IT
Print the pages you need or photocopy the full set as a Winter Directed Drawing Workbook. Use them for winter art lessons, art centers, sketchbook assignments, homeschool art, sub plans, early finishers or seasonal displays. Each drawing can be done in one class or stretched over more sessions with outlining and coloring.
Students need a pencil, eraser and any coloring medium (crayons, markers, colored pencils or watercolor paint). Outlining with a black marker or fine liner gives a polished finish.
