Little did Perce Godson know when he got on the bus that morning to go to work that he'd end up in a battle for his life. 

Percival Godson--his friends call him Perce, for obvious reasons--is a baker and a darned good one. Runs in the blood, you might say. His early morning bus rides to the bakery are usually pretty lonesome; not many travelers at 4 AM. But this morning was different. A tall woman in a black leather coat is already onboard his usual bus, and she has something unusual about her--her eyes are different colors. Heterochromia is a rare condition...one that Perce shares.

That's an odd coincidence, sure...but then time freezes and things get really weird...
