Hoar (or Haw) is the term for the delicate layer of frost often seen tracing the outline of leaves and seed heads after a hard frost. Delicate layers of tiny ice needles crystallise along all surfaces accentuating the beauty of the natural world.
Inspired by lacy delicate fronds these toe-up socks feature a delicate lace panel and a slipped stitch mock cable which looks complicated but in reality is very simple to work.

This pattern is written for the magic loop technique but can be easily adapted for your preferred method of small circumference knitting.

For the non-lace lovers the pattern is easily adaptable to produce a pleasing but less feminine version - details are given in the pattern appendix.

As with many of my patterns this is available in both toe-up and cuff down versions. Please download your chosen file after checkout.
