Today's talk, is on the people, places, and events surrounding the Declaration of Independence.
Among the nations of the world, the United States of America is the oldest continuous country based on a written, codified constitution. Meaning, it is written into law and cannot be changed except by specified methods in the Constitution.
July 4th, 2026, celebrated the 250th anniversary of our declared independence. That was something to celebrate.
In today's talk, our special guest, Ben Franklin, here in spirit and in words, will lead us through the people, places, and events surrounding the Declaration of Independence.
Thank you for letting me share some of the amazing history of ordinary men who became great patriots. Their struggles and accomplishments. I certainly pray I have given you something to remember and hold on to. In our time, with the blessings of Almighty God, we did what we had to, in the best way we knew how. The future and how you keep your independence for another 250 years is up to you.
