It was a warm summer day when Eliza, a 40-year old mother of two, decided to wear her new wooden clogs out for a stroll in the park. She had bought them on a whim at a local boutique, drawn in by their stylish design and comfortable feel.

As she walked through the grassy fields, Eliza couldn't help but feel a sense of freedom and joy. The sun shone down on her face and the breeze ruffled her short blonde hair. She felt carefree, like a teenager again.

But little did Eliza know, there was a problem brewing. Her feet, locked inside the wooden clogs, were starting to sweat profusely in the heat. Before long, an unpleasant odor began to waft from her shoes. Passersby would catch a whiff and wrinkle their noses in distaste.

Back home, Eliza's 8-year old son Tommy was playing with his toy cars on the living room carpet. His assortment of matchbox vehicles were taking part in an epic battle on imaginary highways.

Suddenly, Tommy glanced up and saw his mother entering the room. "Mom! You're back!" he exclaimed, running over to greet her. In his excitement, he didn't notice his toy car lying on the floor.

"Careful, honey, don't tr-ACK!" Eliza's words cut off with a loud crunch as her clog-clad foot came down squarely on Tommy's plastic police car. The toy let out a pathetic squelch as it was flattened under her sweaty sole....
