The self-titled debut album from DHB brings Confessional Lutheran theology into hip hop without sanding down either side of the equation. These songs deal directly with Scripture, Baptism, the Lord’s Supper, justification, the historic Lutheran Confessions, and the battles the Church still faces today.

Across ten tracks, DHB moves between hard-hitting theological rap, darker experimental production, confession, and moments of reflection. Steadfast opens the record with a call to stand firm. Word Alone plants its feet in the authority of Holy Scripture. Henkel introduces listeners to one of American Lutheranism’s forgotten defenders, while Simul wrestles with the Christian as both righteous and sinner.
