Four Patch Dash Patchwork Pattern

Need to make a quick gift for a baby shower or to welcome a new baby into the world? This patchwork quilt pattern is written with speed in mind. Use just five fat quarters plus 1yd of border fabric to complete the quilt top. Follow the strip piecing instructions to create the four patch squares in no time! There are also cutting and piecing instructions to create four patch blocks using individual fabric squares - ideal if you are planning a more scrappy look for your quilt top.

Finished quilt measures 39" x 39", ideal to use as a baby blanket or play mat.
Materials required:
Five Fat Quarters
1 yd of 40" wide fabric for the borders
1/2 yd of 40" wide fabric for the binding
46" x 46" backing
46" x 46" wadding

Tools required:
Sewing machine in good working order.
Rotary cutter, mat and ruler.
General sewing tools.
Thread.

Skills required:
Suitable for confident beginner able to use rotary cutter and machine stitch accurate 1/4" seams.

The pattern contains detailed patchwork piecing instructions. Instructions for how to quilt and add binding are not included.

PDF file suitable for A4 or US Letter printer paper. A colouring sheet is included with the pattern to help you plan your colour scheme.
