The first step in any pursuit of the principles of Christ is to take the time to study to show yourself approved. For many, the area of study can be a cumbersome journey due to varied learning styles. In the year 1597, the scholar Sir Francis Bacon has a powerful statement in his essay “Of Studies.” The quote is "Reading maketh a full man; conference a ready man; and writing an exact man." To read, is to acquire a level of knowledge, but this level of knowing is only good if applied to one’s life. To know only, is a worthless course to take concerning God’s wisdom and allows humanity to be able to discuss and conference. This simply produces a “know it all” attitude. Scripture instructs us that mere talk leaves a person lacking and poor due to the actual results being unfulfilled and delayed in the life. This follow-along workbook is designed to let you record your thoughts concerning the subject of praise. It also was made to help you take the steps to apply what is learned in your own life.
