A biweekly budget spreadsheet for people paid every two weeks. Most budget templates pretend your money arrives once a month, and weekly ones pretend it arrives 52 times — if you're paid biweekly, your real problems are different: bills land on calendar dates while your pay lands every 14 days, and two months a year hand you a third paycheck that everybody treats as a bonus and nobody plans. Type in your paycheck, your bills, your debts, and your goal, and this system tells you every payday what's genuinely safe to spend — with a bill split planner that sorts every bill to the paycheck that has to cover it..

What's inside

• Paycheck Budget — your safe-to-spend number per paycheck, computed live: paycheck minus this check's share of the monthly bills, sinking funds, savings, and extra debt payments, plus a written plan block for the two three-paycheck months

• Bill Split Planner — your bills sorted by due date into Check 1 (due the 1st–15th) and Check 2 (due the 16th–end), so you can see exactly what each check must cover — and how big your mid-month squeeze really is

• Debt Payoff (avalanche) — each debt's true monthly interest cost in dollars, your debts ranked by APR, and a payoff order generated from your numbers: minimums on everything, every extra dollar at the most expensive debt

• Sinking Funds — car repairs, holidays, registration: yearly costs split into small per-paycheck set-asides (yearly ÷ 26), with % funded per fund

• Savings Tracker + 26-Payday Year grid — your goals with projected finish dates, and a full year laid out payday by payday: type your first payday and every one of the 26 dates fills in, with a running total of what you've set aside

• A written quick-start guide (README) plus a Start Here tab inside the workbook — setup takes about 15 minutes

How it differs from our weekly system

The math divides by 26, not 52 — and this workbook adds the Bill Split Planner, the three-paycheck-month plan, and the 26-payday grid, none of which a weekly budget needs or has. If you're paid weekly, buy that one instead; if you're paid monthly, neither shape is yours.

Format

One Excel file (.xlsx) with real formulas in every computed cell — nothing hard-coded. Works in Microsoft Excel, and imports into Google Sheets in under a minute (upload to Drive, open with Sheets, make your copy — the guide walks you through it). No macros, no add-ins, no subscription, no account with us.

Who it's for

Households paid biweekly (26 paychecks a year) — especially if one half of the month always feels tighter than the other, or a third paycheck always evaporates. If your income is irregular, this exact system isn't your shape.

The honest part

This is a template, not financial advice and not a promise. It won't pay off debt or build savings by itself — it shows you what your own numbers say, every payday, in one number you can trust. Every example figure in the workbook is a round, fictional placeholder; you replace all of it with your own in setup. An honest statement of what this system is and isn't ships inside the pack (PRODUCT-NOTE.md).
