Readchella Book Club Launch

Book tasting with a fun festival twist! Students spend time at four themed stations, picking up books, reading the back cover, and sampling the first page, then rating and ranking what they find. The festival structure keeps movement purposeful and the recording sheet gives students a framework for making an actual choice, not just browsing.

The concept works any time students are selecting books for independent reading, preparing for a class book club, or wrapping up the school year with something they actually want to read.

WHAT MAKES IT WORK

Each "stage" holds six students at a time. The built-in rotation system (5-minute sets, 28-second intermissions) is timed on the slideshow, so the teacher isn't watching the clock. Students log each book they sample on their Festival Setlist and leave with a ranked list of their top three picks.
