About The Course
First off, this course is free. $0. Not a cent. My aim is to build a community within US Youth Soccer, called "EvoToca" in which the most dedicated and knowledgable coaches always willing to challenge the status quo and grow and learn, come together and share and exchange ideas. I don't understand why any coach in the US would want to sit on all their information and learn from no one. Becuase it is clear that no US coach has the formula to create players that can succeed at the highest level. And then to be able to do that consistently is another matter. I hear a lot of coaches complain about the situation in US Youth Soccer. But i'm not here to complain, I'm here to find a solution. The coaches who complain will stay the same, the rest of us will grow and find the formula. So I make this course because I cannot ask coaches to open up and share ideas and not give any helpful information to others. So here I am sharing what I know many coaches could make use of. I will continue to do what I can to give valuable information. I also dream that one day a player can play in the US until they are 18 years old and still develop to be an elite player on a global level. Are we far from it? Obviously, but I'm not going to complain and I'm only going to continue the journey until it is complete. You in?
Who Am I
Around 1998 my father began the journey of building a youth soccer club. It all started with 1 team. Actually at the point it was a rec club. Although I was young, as a player starting from a one team club, I was able to experience the expectations and values of a club that still lasts today. These values are instilled in me and regardless of the vast change that has taken place within the US soccer landscape, the club has only continued to grow. So in this course, the source of the content is coming from my father, but you get a little addition from myself within some of the content based on my experience although not too much. I am making this course, because I believe there are coaches who have the tools to improve the level of players within the US but they don't know where to start. Coaches that are better than what's already out there. As a matter of fact, I know this from speaking with other coaches I have come across. So this course gives you a blueprint of what to expect and what pieces you need to have in place so that you can endure as a club for decades. This is not about fast short term success. This is about the formula for a 25+ years of continued growing success with a youth soccer club.
