La Nuit is a contemplation of the night, inspired by Chopin’s nocturnes. A flowing melody and gentle rising chords in a the evocative key of B flat minor work alongside the unusual time signature to create a mysterious, melancholy atmosphere. Glimpses of moonlight illuminate the night.
