TUNISIAN Aria Wrap

The word "Aria" in Italian means both "air" and "the melody".

I chose this word to name this wrap as that was the feeling I got while I made this design. The kidsilk gives it a soft airy look and feel, while the combination of working the kidsilk mohair and the DUO yarn together as a double strand was the perfect melody.

The cable technique I used makes these twists really pop even though it is worked in such a large hook size and with the yarn weight as the bases, one will not expect these perfect cable columns that it creates.

Worked in sections where kidsilk mohair and the DUO yarn are held together as a double strand, and then a section in only kidsilk mohair gives this piece the ultimate authentication of a melody.
