Aesop's Formula: Shortcut for facts OR fiction

   Of all the writers I ever studied, Aesop may have influenced me the most. He lived 2700 years ago, yet his writing is just as vibrant today as it ever was.

    I first started reading Aesop’s work in elementary school. His short stories have entertained people of all ages.

    In the following paragraphs – presented in question-answer style – I’ll try to summarize his life, his teachings, his stories, and his special approach to storytelling.
