"The Big Thicket" is a swampy, forested part of southern Louisiana near the Gulf of Mexico where Bigfoot sightings are quite voluminous. Riggs has explored the area personally where he did numerous interviews with local people who told amazing stories of Bigfoot creatures disappearing inot thin air, or being impervious to shotgun blasts, etc. Reports of UFO sightings in the same area at the time of the Bigfoot sightings indicate definite UFO involvement.
