Every believer begins their journey with the cry of a newborn, dependent, fragile, and hungry for the “milk” of God’s Word. But Scripture makes clear that infancy is only the beginning. “Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity” (Hebrews 6:1). Spiritual growth is not optional; it is the heartbeat of discipleship, the path to maturity, and the means by which the Church becomes strong, unified, and radiant in Christ.

I have been a minister of God's Word since being called into the ministry on October 23, 1983, about Rev. Alvin Bradford. Throughout my 58 years of experience, I have witnessed and listened to a wide array of perspectives in pastors' studies and in pulpit sermons. At denominational conferences, from the state of Missouri to California, and back to Kansas. I have encountered various theological viewpoints and personalities across denominations. However, I feel compelled to express my concern about the divisive stance that many denominations take, each claiming to hold the exclusive truth. This fragmentation not only undermines our unity but also detracts from our collective mission. We must strive for a more inclusive understanding that recognizes the value in diverse interpretations while working together towards a common goal.
