The Countertenor's Curse

One cursed vampire who can’t drink human blood. One grumpy witch who can’t do magic. One villain who wants them both.

Curtis was months away from his professional opera debut when the Hexmaster stole his life.

Now he’s a vampire on the run, starving on rat blood in a Brooklyn basement, and missing the one thing that made him him: his voice.

Then a gruff, crossbow-toting stranger breaks down the door.

Wolf is the first Eldest in the history of his witches' Circle with no magic, and his mother will never let him forget it.

And then the vision: the Circle's home in flames, his witches in chains, and at the center of it all, a half-dead vampire on a basement floor.

Wolf doesn’t trust visions. He doesn't trust vampires. And he definitely doesn’t trust vampires with secrets. So why can’t he stop bringing this one blood and putting himself between Curtis and the creature hunting him?

As the Hexmaster closes in, one thing becomes clear: the man who can save Curtis might be the one thing the monster wants most.
