Sledge Originals 999 — Vintage & Wavetable Patches

999 sounds. One Sledge.

Sledge Originals 999 is a complete bank of original programs for the Studiologic Sledge, combining vintage analog character, PPG and Waldorf-inspired wavetable textures, and cinematic / experimental sound design.

Explore warm brass and strings, rounded basses, expressive leads, shimmering keys, metallic percussion, slow pads and evolving atmospheres. Every program has a mod wheel and channel aftertouch assignment suited to its sound.

COMPATIBILITY

Developed and verified on a Studiologic Sledge Black Edition with firmware 2.5.2. Other models and firmware versions have not been verified. No external samples are required. This is a hardware synth bank, not a plug-in or sample pack.

LOADING

Back up your existing sounds first: the complete bank writes user slots 001–999. Use a SysEx librarian with at least one second between complete program messages. The download includes detailed transfer instructions. Loading takes about 17 minutes or longer. Choose the full bank or chunks, not both.

EXPRESSION

Mod wheel and channel aftertouch share the Sledge WHEEL section's modulation depth. Try pressure with the wheel down; a full wheel leaves no extra pressure headroom. Let slow pads build, and compare repeated notes for short voices.

Original synthesis recipes were created with AI-assisted programming and refined with hardware tests and representative listening feedback. All 999 programs passed exact stored-readback and forced-recall checks. The full demo plays every slot; individual listening approval was limited to representative sounds. Inspiration names do not mean exact emulation or copied factory patches.

LICENSE

Use in personal or commercial music and performances, without further royalties. Personal edits and backups are allowed. Redistribution or resale of the patch files as a sound bank is not allowed. Full terms are included in the download.
