M-51 Super Sherman

The M-51 Super Sherman is one of the most advanced versions of the M4 Sherman, developed by Israel to keep the aging platform combat-effective. Its most notable feature is the powerful French 105mm gun, capable of engaging much newer tanks, paired with an upgraded suspension and a more reliable engine to handle the added weight and recoil. The M-51 combined improved firepower with the Sherman’s proven mobility, allowing it to remain competitive on the battlefield into the 1960s and early 1970s.~
